I work from the road a lot. Hotels, cafes, coworking floors, the odd beach club when the wifi holds. Over time I have built a list of the places that genuinely work: somewhere you open the laptop and get a morning done, then close it and enjoy where you are. This is that list. Where I stay, where I eat, the people and businesses worth knowing, city by city. I add to it as I go.
